In the Spring, the SAEA board launched a new initiative to award professional development hours to members. They were excited to continue this initiative at the fall conference, awarding attendance certificates to SAEA members, which can be used for professional development hours/credits.
Utilizing certificates of attendance, SAEA members will now be able to present their participation and membership with SAEA as valid PDH and CEUs for various important credentials in the engineering field. These credentials, such as becoming a Licensed Engineer, open up new career and professional development opportunities for SAEA members. Engineering Licenses often require documented continuing education hours to retain and renew licensure.
