As a completely volunteer-based organization, SAEA members not only donate their time but contribute deep technical and scientific skills and experience that is scarce in even most developed nations. As such SAEA values its members highly, especially those who step into the roles of project manager for important engineering efforts and sensitive projects for the relief and recovery of Syrian buildings and infrastructure. At the Fall Membership Conference, the following four members will receive achievement awards for outstanding work in their respective areas of expertise:
-Ghanem Jandali – For outstanding Mechanical Engineering work in research and development of Biogas generation and harvesting including multiple related educational programs
-Oubada Abushaar – For outstanding Electrical Engineering work in solar and renewable energy projects in rural Damascus
-Jamal Beirakdar – For outstanding Structural Engineering work in damage assessment, fortification design, repair and renovation for essential buildings and infrastructure.
-Samir Nashef – For outstanding Civil Engineering work in oversight and construction management for multiple WASH sector projects in northern Syria
Without the drive of these dedicated members, SAEA would not be able to complete important projects for the relief and rebuilding of Syria. Congratulations and Thank You!
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the membership conference.
