SAEA supports education efforts in a new initiative in Syria by helping to promote a healthy, comfortable and warm learning environment. A Project Manager reached out to a local organization to partner with SAEA and identify schools that are lacking heating equipment and to assess where the project efforts are most needed. Through the collaboration with our local partner, heating devices have been distributed among 17 classrooms in Syrian school buildings, ultimately benefiting a total of 270 KG-6th grade students.
Absence of the most basic human necessities like heat in harsh winter months has been an obstacle in the way of development and education. SAEA is actively engaged in various projects like this one in the context of the larger objective of ensuring opportunities for education for Syrian children.
