Keynote Speaker Confirmed for Spring Conference (DEI & Management Transition)

SAEA Board looks forward to welcoming members to the Spring Membership Conference on Saturday May 13^th in the Detroit Metro Area.

The Keynote speaker is confirmed and members are very excited to listen and learn from Dr. El Gamal’s depth of knowledge and expertise as a business leader in the US Engineering community and GLWA.

Dima El-Gamal, Ph.D., PE, LEED AP, is the Capital Improvement Planning Director at the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA). At GLWA she is responsible for planning ~$350 Million of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements on an annual basis.

We are thrilled to learn on important topics of workplace diversity, equity and inclusion as well as making the transition from engineer into engineering management from the lens of a female business leader and a notable Syrian-American Engineer.
