Syrian American Engineers will come together face-to-face again for the first time since prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The long disconnect is over as we last met in person for the last time in October of 2019. The social gathering and mingling over a traditional meal is an essential element of SAEA social activities.
The SAEA Board has issued Covid Safety Guidelines prior to the return to in-person conferences to keep our community safe and healthy. We are eager to spend time with our member community and talk and argue and debate shoulder to shoulder together again and keeping a little distance whenever possible.
To do so, we will:
-encourage mask wearing
-encourage distancing from others aside from the prayer time
-encourage hand washing and sanitizing frequently
-encourage testing prior to traveling to the event
We look forward to seeing SAEA members, colleagues, and friends on October 30th! There will also be hybrid participation via Zoom to extend the audience.
