SAEA Signs Water Exploration Agreement in Northern Syria

SAEA has finalized and signed a contractual agreement to fund water exploration in order to provide a dedicated sustainable water source for a critical medical facility in rural northern Syria.

An important step in bringing clean, safe water to people and facilities on the ground in Syria is the water exploration necessary to identify and tap suitable well sites. Groundwater exploration investigates underground formations to assess the water quality and quantity in potential water aquifers.

SAEA’s MediFac team will deploy environmental and geotechnical engineering expertise to direct field contractors on the ground in site survey and investigation. Once the site is confirmed, one or more wells will be erected near the facility to eliminate expensive water shipments from water tankers and to sustain daily operations in a more reliable manner allowing the facility to spend valuable time and resources saving lives.
