Strategic planning for the future of the Syrian American Engineers Association has been in full swing. SAEA’s planning and research & development continue in the following five key focus areas:
-Shelter and housing for IDPs and refugees
-WASH
-Energy
-Telecommunications
-Food & nutrition
Project managers for projects in these key areas presented their recent work at SAEA’s spring membership conference, highlighting technical engineering support provided to aid in humanitarian relief efforts such as housing, flooding in IDP camps, and other initiatives. Members look forward to continued support for these areas by providing technical expertise and resources.
