Syrian Engineers Represented by SAEA in a Coalition of NGOs for Syrian Humanitarian Relief:

Washington, DC – March 3-4, 2013

SAEA board of directors participated in a two-day meeting of non-governmental organizations aimed to coordinate and streamline efforts to support aid and humanitarian relief for Syria. In an unprecedented show of support, over 60 members of various concerned organization came together to find ways of coordinating much needed medical and food aid for refugees of the Syrian crisis. SAEA presented recent shipment of slab jacking equipment and ongoing studies for proposed delivery of mobile solar powered water purification equipment. Further SAEA proposed tactical engineering support of mobile medical hospital units to ensure proper operation and maintenance with fuel, power, and clean water.
